I’m posting this in reaction to my friends Martin Varsavsky post on another friend’s startup, seesmic whose solution I use for this videoblog. There is also a great post by jason calacanis on why he has changed his mind on seesmic, I have to say I agree with most of his points, only things he is missing are:- Its hard to put yourself in front of a webcam for all to see (easier to hide behing words)- The 100%, 40%, 10% rule that I explain in the video. One that I think might change this. {seesmic_video:{“url_thumbnail”:{“value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/NmXJSqAnG4_th1.jpg”}”title”:{“value”:”Why a Video Blog “}”videoUri”:{“value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/FZHyQn4udu”}}}
Videos capture much more attention {seesmic_video:{"url_thumbnail":{"value":"http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/03FsMWGiaW_th1.jpg"}"title":{"value":"Videos capture much more attention "}"videoUri":{"value":"http://www.seesmic.com/video/RM3pkXoZWd"}}}

I agree {seesmic_video:{“url_thumbnail”:{“value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/R7DupR8ICQ_th1.jpg”}”title”:{“value”:”I agree “}”videoUri”:{“value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/JUhlWRlbMi”}}}
I have my concerns about more content in video format: http://themindstorms.blogspot.com/2008/05/idea-video-comments-love-or-hate.html, but I still find it refreshing.
